Mandatory skills:

• Proficient in C, C++ and C# programming
• Excellent software design skills, good experience with OOAD and applying design patterns to solve problems
• Strong experience in using at least one of the framework/libraries (Ex. STL, QT,.Net…)
• Exposure to database concepts & experience with Database ex. MS SQL
• Experience with software development on Windows and Linux
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills with the ability to work across organizational boundaries
• Flexible to learn new areas and ability to multi-task across projects

Nice to have skills:

• Good understanding with x86 architecture, and PC/server system hardware, software-hardware interfacing techniques
• Experience with scripting languages like Perl or Python
• Familiarity with device driver concepts and good OS internal understanding

Good problem solving skills

• Experience in working with customers to meet their requirements and experience with agile/extreme programming/scrum methodology
