• Successful candidate will work as part of the Validation software development group and drive the design and methodology for Validation software development for next generation AMD chipsets and Fusion products, in collaboration with silicon design and validation teams.
• The candidate would be responsible for handling a team of 8-10 engineers and provide technical mentorship in addition to managing the project deliverables.
• The candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of X86 system architecture and should have proven skills in architecting solutions, design and development of embedded software for low-level microprocessor functionality.
• The candidate should have more than 12 years of experience and should possess excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
• Experience managing/leading teams is essential.

Required skills:

• Experience in design and development of embedded systems
• Experience in Chipset/Platform Validation, particularly in development of low level software
• Extensive knowledge in device protocols – SATA, USB, PCIe, HT, Processor Interconnects
• In-depth knowledge of UNIX/Linux Internal and hands on in Assembly language programming
• 12+ yrs experience, at least 2 years of experience as Lead/Architect/Technical Manager
